The first inaugural Power Conference: Women Doing Business! was held September 1, 2010 in North Bethesda, MD, and it was the largest local women's business conference of 2010. We had over 60 vendors, 20 workshops, and 550 people all in one place! The 2011 event attracted over 800 attendees, and added a networking reception and book fair to the day's events. Every year since, we've added content and value.
The 2017 Power Conference is shaping up to be even bigger!!! We have the whole Marriott conference center, over 40 workshops, 90 vendors, a bookstore, a special guided networking event, an evening open networking event, and so much more! Stay tuned for details!
Thanks to a consortium of women's organizations in the Washington Metropolitan area, attendees will enjoy a stellar business development conference to promote the growth of women-owned businesses. Educational workshops address hot business topics that you have requested.

The Power Conference: Women Doing Business is designed to promote business development for women in business through networking, education, and marketing opportunities. The Business Tradeshow will showcase local businesses and regional resources and be ground zero for daylong networking. Participation in the Power Conference will be within reach of any sized business and provide multiple platforms and opportunities for marketing and business development.
