The Power Conference: Women Doing Business

The first inaugural Power Conference: Women Doing Business! was held September 1, 2010 in North Bethesda, MD, and it was the largest local women's business conference of 2010.  We had over 60 vendors, 20 workshops, and 550 people all in one place!  The 2011 event attracted even more attendees, and added a networking reception and book fair to the day's events.  Plans are already in the works for the third annual Power Conference. 

Thanks to a consortium of women's organizations in the Washington Metropolitan area, attendees will enjoy a stellar business development conference to promote the growth or women-owned businesses. Educational workshops address 3 hot business topics:

• Business Development and Contracting
• Technology and Marketing
• Personal Development for Business Growth

A business expo showcases regional businesses and resources for business owners and operators.

The Power Conference Mission:

The Power Conference: Women Doing Business is designed to promote business development for women in business through networking, education, and marketing opportunities. The Business Tradeshow will showcase local businesses and regional resources and be ground zero for daylong networking. Participation in the Power Conference will be within reach of any sized business and provide multiple platforms and opportunities for marketing and business development.
