Joining
together for mutual support, Women Business Owners of Montgomery
County represents a wide variety of women-owned corporations,
independent businesses, and for-profit service organizations.
Our common purpose is to explore the challenges, risks, and opportunities
associated with developing and expanding a business. Since 1980,
WBO has provided access to the combined knowledge and experience
that women business owners can offer to one another.
WBO is a volunteer-run organization with a
formal leadership and committee structure,
along with volunteers who assist in
coordinating our meetings and programs, mailing list and database,
member of the month, web site and in representing us to the larger
community.
Our committees are
an excellent way to maximize your membership investment, become
involved with your organization and build strong networking relationships.
Your committee participation is also the essential ingredient
to making WBO the most effective business advocacy organization
for women in business in Montgomery County.
